Goodwill Columbus & HOMAGE Partner to Bring Community Impact to Game Day

HOMAGE apparel available at all 13 Goodwill Columbus thrift stores beginning Friday, Sept. 4 following HOMAGE warehouse transition

(Columbus, Ohio) — Goodwill Columbus and HOMAGE, the Ohio-based clothing and lifestyle brand known for celebrating iconic moments in sport and culture, have come together to provide a brand fans already love with a local mission shoppers can feel good about supporting.

Beginning this Friday, Sept. 4 at 9 a.m., fans can find their favorite sports gear, just in time for football season, at all 13 Goodwill Columbus retail locations.

The opportunity gives shoppers a new way to build their game day clothing rotation while directly supporting Goodwill’s work helping people build lives of possibility and purpose. Every purchase at Goodwill Columbus supports job training, career coaching, disability services, and other programs that help individuals gain independence and secure meaningful employment.

“This partnership is a great example of how community-minded brands can drive impact across Central Ohio,” said Goodwill Columbus President & CEO Ryan Burgess. “Together, we’re giving shoppers access to an amazing brand and an easy way to support their community.”

This is a one-time distribution that primarily consists of customer returns and aged merchandise that is no longer part of HOMAGE’s current product assortment or regular ecommerce inventory, following HOMAGE’s recent warehouse move and consolidation of inventory associated with that transition.

“As we transitioned our warehouse operations, we had an opportunity to take a fresh look at inventory that had accumulated over time,” said HOMAGE CEO Ryan Vesler. “These are wearable, sellable products. We felt the best outcome was to get that product back into circulation and into the hands of consumers in our hometown.”

A limited amount of this HOMAGE merchandise will be available at all Goodwill Columbus stores while supplies last, alongside the wide selection of donated goods shoppers already know at Goodwill.

Vesler continued, “Partnering with Goodwill Columbus lets us extend our mission of celebrating community and the shared moments that bring people together in a real way, giving customers another chance to wear what they love while supporting pathways to meaningful work for people across our home state.”
