Nov. 2024

One-third of working Americans possess limited digital skills, and 80,000 residents in Franklin County lack affordable, reliable internet.

To help bridge the digital divide, Goodwill Columbus – in partnership with The City of Columbus and other collaborating organizations – is hosting a series of free, engaging digital classes. Through the classes, individuals learn practical tools for accessing job opportunities, health transportation services, banking, and more.

At the conclusion of the 10-hour coursework, participants are eligible to earn a FREE Chromebook.

With course offerings ranging from basic computer skills to more advanced topics, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner looking to navigate the internet with confidence or seeking to sharpen your skills for career advancement, these courses have you covered.

To learn more about the course schedule and to get started today, please see the attached flyer and schedule.

In addition to hosting these courses, Goodwill Columbus is holding free, digital literacy drop-in classes at various library branches. View the November schedule here.
