Goodwill Gladiators

Everyone should experience the thrill of competition and have the opportunity to be rewarded for their efforts. The Special Olympics program at Goodwill Columbus provides adult participants with developmental disabilities and other barriers, year-round sports training and competition opportunities. Special Olympics contributes to the physical, social and psychological development of athletes. Through successful experiences in sports, they gain confidence and build a positive self-image. The Goodwill Columbus Gladiators compete in Special Olympic tournaments at the local, state, regional, national and international levels. Sports include bowling, basketball (both men’s and women’s teams,) track and field, tennis, golf, softball, soccer and flag football.
