Work & Activity Services
The New Generation Work & Activity Services program provides unique and varied opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities between the ages of 18 and 44. The program, located at our Edgehill Road headquarters, is designed for individuals who have an interest in learning work skills. Participants also partake in art, health and wellness, and a variety of activities in community settings including volunteering, recreation and leisure, and community awareness.
Participants will learn job skills and gain knowledge about workplace socialization, as well as health and safety practices, and self direction. The program also assists participants in building interpersonal relationships and empowers them to become self advocates.
