Janitorial Services
- Custodian – Janitorial
- Salary/wages: $8.86/hour

Security Services

Hours will vary, mandatory overtime as required by management based on contract, staff and site requirements on an as needed basis. This requirement will be shared by all staff.
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Receive Instruction in security procedures for Goodwill Columbus contract security services.
- Provide coverage of contracted buildings and associated properties.
- Work is performed independently under general supervisor.

- Develop, write, implement and facilitate person centered I.P. goals, objectives, methodologies and services as requested and/or as needed by persons served. Attend IP/Special meetings as required.
- Provide quality control of the work produced, ensuring that product is 100% accurate (verifying correct batch and commodity numbers, as well as correct assembly of the product according to Quality Assurance specifications).
- Complete and submit daily production records for each participant; documenting number of pieces produced and number of hours worked.

- Course work or experience in behavior support and crisis intervention preferred.

- Must have ability to participate in and provide therapeutic interventions during crisis situations as trained; must be able to walk, run, kneel, hold and restrain individuals unexpectedly on a daily basis.

Salaried – Exempt Positions
Supported Living
- Assistant Program Director
- 40 hours per week minimum- Primarily: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday; however, must be flexible. On-call in regularly assigned rotation for problems arising with individuals in Supported Living Services. Also, on-call back up for staffing and consumer related problems.
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Bachelor degree in human services or related field, 1 year supervisory experience, and 1 year paid (Federal Definition of QMRP) experience working with people with MR/DD required; or Master Degree with no supervisory experience and at least 1 year paid experience working with individuals with MR/DD to be eligible to provide Limited Program Specialist Services.
- Assist Program Director in assuring compliance with regulations according to HCFA Ohio Department of Human Services, Ohio Department of MR/DD, Franklin County Board of MR/DD, Departmental and Goodwill policy and procedures, and all other applicable Federal, State and local agencies.
- Monitor day-to-day service delivery to consumers and assure that all assessments, plans, and service delivery is documented according to County and State regulations.
- Participate as Supported Living Coordinator as needed in the development and revisions of ISP’s.
- Monitor services provided by Supported Living Managers (home visits, data review, financial review, etc.). Make scheduled and unscheduled home visits to monitor services.
- Conduct provider interviews with consumers and make recommendations to the Program Director and Director of MR/DD Services regarding ability to provide services if chosen.
- Assist Supported Living Managers in assessing the quality of service delivery and in maximizing hours available to consumers. Ensure that billing (HPC, TP, LPS, SW, etc.) is done correctly and is maximized. Weekly review of utilization, working with the SL billing specialist to ensure we are not over-utilized and correcting when we are over-utilized when possible.

Young Adult Services
- Young Adult Services Manager
- 40 hours per week minimum, Monday-Friday (generally 8:00am- 5:00pm). Schedule may vary according to program needs and will be determined with Program Director.
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related Human Services field plus two years experience working with individuals with MR/DD required, prefer experience in teaching and/or case management.
- Two years demonstrated supervisory experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of behavioral interventions preferred.
- Ability to provide therapeutic interventions during crisis situations. Effectively communicates with both verbal and non-verbal individuals. Knowledge of active treatment, self-determination and person centered planning preferred.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, interact with people in a professional manner, work under time pressure and be flexible. Use of discretion and independent judgment in oversight responsibilities and the delivery of services required. Ability to encourage and enhance involvement from participant’s team members.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to lift or assist in lifting individuals weighing in excess of 100 lbs.

Workforce Development at Battelle Career Education Center
- Program Coordinator/Primary Instructor Nurse Aid Training Competency Evaluation Program (TCEP)
40 hours per week minimum. Generally 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., however, hours may vary based upon needs of department and program participants.
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Current, valid license to practice nursing as a registered nurse issued under Chapter 4723 of the Revised code or other state code required.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience as a licensed registered nurse or possesses a bachelor's, master's degree or a doctorate in education or possesses a currently valid vocational education certificate for teaching health occupations issued by the Ohio board of education required.
- Sixteen hundred (1600) hours of direct care experience in a long-term care facility required.
- Successful completion of Train the Trainer, a training program for program coordinators and primary instructors of a TCEP, approved by the Ohio Dept. of Health preferred.
- Must be skilled in developing and conducting training programs and work assessments and have knowledge of learning principles and training techniques; knowledge of state/federal requirements for accreditation and certification required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff within all levels of the organization.
- Must possess valid Ohio Driver License, maintain own vehicle insurance, and be insurable on company policy at all times.
