apply for a job

Welcome to the Goodwill Columbus Job Opportunities page. Before you search the posted jobs, please take a moment to review the following information on what to expect from the recruitment process.

When you apply for a specific job opportunity on this web site, you will receive a confirmation card in the mail acknowledging receipt of your application. Our Talent Acquisition Team will review the applications in order to identify those individuals whose experiences and qualifications most closely align with job specifications. We appreciate your patience as we carefully review each applicant.

If you are selected to advance in our process, you will be contacted and the interview process will be explained. If we contact you about a specific job opportunity and you are interested in pursuing it, you should take the requested action promptly.

If you are not selected for the specific job opportunity in which you expressed an interest, you may still be contacted for other opportunities. Your application and/or resume will remain active for 90 days and on record for up to one year.

This program is offered at no cost to employees; however, you must complete a 90-day evaluation period and have a recommendation from your supervisor to enter the program. Once you are a part of Career Ladders, you will benefit from two tiers of programming.

Once you have completed all of the Level One goals included in your career plans, you are eligible for Level Two opportunities. These are different for each person and might include training in computers, forklift operation, or retail management. For those who qualify, there may be opportunities for financial assistance towards a work-related Associate's Degree.
