Buckeye Ford - Dealership partnerships with Goodwill Columbus on large-scale donation drive March 14-19

LONDON, Ohio - Buckeye Ford in London, Ohio, is hosting a large-scale donation drive with Goodwill Columbus beginning Monday March 14 and continuing through Saturday, March 19.

Proceeds from items collected will go to support Goodwill workforce development programs for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Those who choose to donate an item at Buckeye Ford during the drive will receive a coupon for $5-off service, and those who donate multiple items will receive a $10-off coupon. Anyone visiting the dealership that week can enter a raffle to win a Goodwill gift certificate or a $25 Mabe’s Sporting Goods Gift Certificate.

“We are very happy to partner with Goodwill Columbus on this donation drive,” said Buckeye Ford President Jim Hunt. “Donating items you no longer use helps the environment by keeping unwanted items out of the landfill, and donations create an important revenue stream for Goodwill so that they can maintain programming for those looking for a path to competitive employment. We are extremely pleased that we can help people with disabilities and other barriers by hosting this drive.”

Donations can be dropped off inside the Buckeye Ford dealership or at their QuickLane oil change building Monday through Friday. On Saturday from noon to 4:00 p.m., there will be a pop-up Goodwill donation drive through at dealership, making it possible for donors to contribute without ever having to leave the comfort of their vehicle. Goodwill attendants will be onsite to assist with gathering donations. To better plan your donation, please check here http://goodwillcolumbus.org/site/assets/files/1829/accept-not_accept.pdf for a list of items Goodwill can and cannot accept.
